Fitness Journey Must Haves!

It's a whole new world! You hear me throwing out the words macros, grams, ounces, or use weird terms like __F/__C/__P. What does it all mean? How do you track macros, how do you know what serving sizes are? Well, I gotchu, with this list of 10 things you can all utilize to help make this journey a lot easier. :)

So let's get into it.

  1. A Plan & YOUR goals- Whether you are wanting to lose weight, gain muscle, body-recomp, or just a general goal of getting healthier. Figuring out what your goal will help US make a plan for you.

  2. Tracking App- If you decide to go with the #flexibledieting route (which is my most suggested) you will need to start tracking... but it makes tracking your set macros soooo much easier. Download the one I use every day 👏

  3. Food Scale- A food scale is EXTREMELY important to utilize, especially when first starting out because most of us don't have a real grasp of actual serving sizes. Depending on where you get your chicken breasts, it can range from 1.5 Servings-4 Servings. So measuring out your food to ensure that you are not overeating or undereating is extremely important

  4. Protein Snacks- Having on-the-go protein snacks is very important because for most of you... you're not getting enough protein in your diet day-to-day. So we just need to make small swaps to ensure we get you to your designated number! I will be posting more info about protein as the weeks infold. I promise you!

  5. A Frother- Okay this is a random one, but truly a game-changer. Perfect to mix your reds & greens, froth your milk for extra creamy coffees, mix your protein, etc.

  6. Seasonings & Flavor Adds- 👏 SEASON 👏 YOUR 👏 FOOD 👏 NO ONE WANTS BLAND FOOD OVER HERE! My cupboard is filled with seasonings, flavor packets, and fun things. My parents make an awesome blend that is ready for pickup in Sacramento Consider grabbing some. Also, Flavor God is 🔥 with no added sugars, salts, and carbs. You can save $5 with the link here. Another flavor add to consider would be something like skinny syrups so you can add some extra zhush to your coffee, oatmeal, smoothies, and yogurts!

  7. Air Fryer- SOME LIKE IT CRISPY, SOME LIKE IT FAST... the air fryer can do both of those and so much more! The airfryer is my second best friend. I even put my oatmeal in it... yes, my freaking oatmeal! The airfryer just makes everything better.

  8. Instant Pot - For those of you that don't cook or have a ton of time... the instant pot is gonna be the best option.

  9. An accountability partner - ME! Always here to help you.. and you know there are a ton of ways to get connected with me. Whether it's through either of the apps, text, or if you want to book a time to chat then pick a time that best works for YOU here.

  10. A community to lean on, so use the FB Group and Forum to connect with other Thiccc N' Thiners!

BONUS: A commitment to YOURSELF

It's my job to give you the tools to be successful, but ultimately it is your choice to make the commitment to make real change. The journey is new and uncomfortable. You won't be perfect, nor do I expect you to be. So when it get's hard, just remember progress over perfection. Each day is a new day be 0.0001% better than the day before. When that doesn't work remember your WHY. WHY DID YOU START? WHY DID YOU DECIDE TO GET HEALTHY? WHY DID YOU DECIDE THIS WAS THE YEAR YOU WERE GOING TO MAKE A CHANGE?

Or set up a call with me so we can talk you off the ledge.

Remember you are not in this alone. I got you... we got you!

thru Thiccc N' Thin, I love you so much

Your biggest fan,

Vannesa 💖
