How am I feeling? Tired. Exhausted. Happy.
Last nights adventure to fright fest was a bit unnerving but also soooo fun! I was nervous I was going to get super frail from walking around so much post cardio and heavy leg day++ being under a caloric deficit... butttt we prevailed! I had a plan, I stuck with it and made sure to still get all my water in! It was honestly the best.
Prior to us getting into the park we had our big dinner to keep us sustained in the heat, and environment. I had to take it slow on the super spiny rides because it was getting my equilibrium off a bit. But again, it worked out great. We had a flash pass and barely used it but got on all the rides we wanted too and saw the zombies 🧟♀️ 🧟♂️
Tons of fun, but of course when we got home we still had some shit to do at home before going to bed. Like the normal stuff, face wash, load dish washer, eat our last meal, prep our morning supplements, finish our water and wind down so we didn't get to bed til about midnight. Which means we decided to sleep in and at least get our six hours of sleep and will be going to the gym after Eli gets off work.
Sometimes you just have to weigh out the options of what would make the most sense for you and recovery.
I also tell you this, so you know I don't force myself to wake up at 4:30 every day without fail 💪 I do most days... but not every day 😉
