4 Garlic & Herb Chicken Sausage from Trader Joe’s
4 Slices of Butterbread
4 Slice Fat Free American Cheese
10g Egg Whites for Egg Wash

Preparation

1. Preheat oven to 450 degrees F. Slice off the crust of the bread with a pizza cutter.
2. Weight of each slice without the crust. Track it as that weight, not as one slice of bread because it’ll have less macros because it doesn’t have the crust anymore and weighs less. Mine ended up being 2⁄3 of a slice in weight therefore was only 8g carb instead of 12g of carbs.
3. Take a rolling pin and roll out the crustless pieces of bread as flat as possible. Then lay the cheese and sausage on top of each and roll them tight. Press down the edges and crimp shut with fork. Take the egg whites and coat outside allow them to golden while baking. This will help make it crunchy.
4. Add to oven for 6-8 minutes until golden. Then take out and enjoy!
