BAGEL DOUGH
40g All Purpose Flour
20g Level-1 or Protein of Choice
12g Coconut Flour
6g Ground Cinnamon
6g Zero Cal Sweetener of your choice
6g Baking Powder
135g Plain Nonfat Greek Yogurt
75g Egg Whites
B R O W N S U G A R C O AT I N G ( W I L L MAKE MORE THAN NEEDED)
10g Brown Sugar
10g Powdered Sugar
6g Ground Cinnamon
10g Zero Cal Sweetener of your choice
Preparation
1. Preheat oven to 450 degrees F. Add all of the dry ingredients into a bowl and mix. Place wet ingredients in a separate bowl and mix. Combine the wet and dry ingredients and mix.
2. Spray the donut pan with nonstick cooking spray and then evenly add the dough in the 6 cavities. Make sure to use all of the dough.
3. Add to the oven for 8-10 minutes until the bagels are golden. Remove and let cool on a cooling rack.
4. While cooling, add the cinnamon brown sugar coating ingredients into a bowl and mix. Either use some of the egg whites and coat the bagels or spray both sides of the bagels to help the cinnamon brown sugar stick.
5. Once bagels have been coated, place in the bowl with the cinnamon brown sugar mixture and proceed to cover the bagel with it. Repeat this process for all the bagels.
6. To make bagels crispier, either place in the oven briefly on broil in the oven, place in the toaster or even air fryer!
