BUNS (MAKES 4)
90g All Purpose Flour
16g Coconut Flour
10g Baking Powder
8g Garlic Powder
4g Sea Salt
200g Plain NonFat Greek Yogurt
100g Egg whites
10g Sesame Seeds
REST OF SANDWICH
24oz Chicken Breast
4 Slices Fat Free Cheese
Preparation
1. Preheat oven to 450 degrees F. Add dry ingredients (except for sesame seeds) into a bowl and mix to avoid clumping. Add the wet ingredients into another bowl and mix. Now combine dry with wet and thoroughly mix until there is a paste like consistency.
2. Line an oven safe pan with parchment paper and add 1/4th of the dough creating the shape of a bun with your spoon. Repeat this process with the rest of the dough to make 3 more buns. Sprinkle sesame seeds on top of the buns. Add to oven for 8-12 minutes until they are golden.
3. While the buns are cooking, take chicken breast and cut 4 6oz chicken breasts to be used for the sandwiches. Season in garlic powder and sea salt and poke a bunch of holes in the chicken breasts.
4. Preheat a stovetop pan on 5/10 heat. Spray with nonstick cooking spray once preheated and add the seasoned chicken breast on top. Place the cover on top of the pan to help the chicken breast cook all the way through. Cook, flip and repeat till chicken is cooked all the way through. Once finished, add the slices of cheese on top to let melt.
5. Once the buns are done take out and slice in half when you’re ready to eat. Highly recommend once slicing them in half and placing in the air fryer/toaster/oven to crisp up. Then put your sandwich together, add any other toppings you’d like to your sandwich! Enjoy!
