30g Level-1 or Protein of Choice
20g Black Cocoa Powder (Can use Unsweetened Baking Cocoa as a substitute but you will need to use twice as much (40g) and then up the coconut flour to 12g)
10g All Purpose Flour
5g Zero Cal Sweetener of your choice
5g Baking Powder
100g Plain Nonfat Greek Yogurt
40g Unsweetened Apple Sauce
70g Egg Whites
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Add dry donut ingredients into a bow and mix to avoid clumping. Do the same with the wet ingredients in a separate bowl. Then combine dry with wet and mix till you have a thick batter like consistency.
2. Take a donut pan and spray each donut mold with non stick butter spray. Add the batter evenly into all 6 molds. Place in oven and bake for 10 minutes. Once done, pop out carefully and let cool for an hour or so on a cooling rack until they reach room temperature.
3. While those are cooling, make the protein frosting by adding all the dry ingredients into a bowl and mixing to avoid clumping. Add cold water 10ml at a time and mix until a frosting like consistency. Then add 45g of greek yogurt and mix well. Add to fridge to keep cool while donuts are cooling.
4. Once donuts are cool, add the frosting on top along with the crushed Oreo thins and enjoy!
